The Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP is in the process of obtaining easements across Kentuckians property to build the Western Kentucky Market Lateral. The proposed pipeline lateral is planned to originate at the company’s compressor station in Muhlenberg County and then proceed eastward for approximately 19 miles to the proposed Cane Run Power Plant. The pipe will be transporting natural gas. Boardwalk Pipeline Partners, LP has indicated it intends to have the construction completed, the pipe installed, and gas flowing in the second half of 2016. The company provided information on its website indicating that it has dedicated $80 million to the proposed Western Kentucky Market Lateral.
